Introduction To My Blog

INTRODUCTION TO MY BLOG
June 23 2020

Hello,

My name is Ruby Guesford and I am officially new to Blogger, so I sincerely apologize if there are some errors in my page!

I want you to know, my dear readers, that I sometimes get very busy in my day to day life, but I think that it would be a good idea to try my best to post a blog every week.

So where do I really begin? Aha! We are all really going through the same horrible thing at this moment: the COVID-19 pandemic. Personally, as a graduate of elementary school, I find this very difficult. My class has been doing online schooling which is better than none. If you are still in school, too, than what are you doing for school? Are you doing any school at all? I really miss spending time with my friends during our breaks, but I guess texting each other is good as well, but talking in person is much better in my opinion. Do you miss your friends?

Social distancing angers me as well because yo can't see any of your friends or family (unless they live with you that is.)! Do you have any close family you have been particularly missing? I pretty much miss everyone that I know.  At least they are getting slightly more relaxed with the rules.

People have been saying that  2020 has been a cursed year. I completely agree with them who say that! There has been too many cursed events that have happened in the past year and it has been the worst year that I have gone through so far. I have grown up with rabbits as family members since I was born. So far we have had 4 rabbits: Xena, Gabby, Norma, and Lenny. Norma was a fairly aggressive rabbit when we had first adopted her. My Dad actually wore work gloves when he would clean her cage! As she got older and older, she got less and less aggressive. She was 8 years old when we had to bring her into a veterinarians office and put her down. I think that was around this January or February.  We moved quite a bit when I was younger, and Norma was always there. We really miss her. Even Lenny missed her when she first passed. We only have him as a pet now, but he is awesome too! He is our first male rabbit as well, and we are so thankful to have him.  Long story short, many bad things have occurred this year, and my rabbit passing was only one of the hundreds of things that happened.

Anyways, sorry to end my first blog on a dark note, but I think I should wrap this up. I hope that this year starts to be more happy soon, and I hope that your day is going well and that it continues to be great!

I will hopefully get to do another blog next week!

Sincerely,
Ruby Guesford
